LED lighting

Energy efficient lighting has traditionally suffered from the problem of poor light colour, with many CFL bulbs giving a harsh white light, and traditional LED bulbs giving a blue hue. In the past year there has been great advances both in terms of light spectrum and in energy efficiency. Specifically the range of LED lighting available from our partners Lumanetic has the following features and benefits.

Halogen Replacement

If your office or home has many halogen downlights, replacing these with Lumanetic LED lighting, will in most cases halve your TOTAL electricity bill (each fixture will only use 10% of the previous power), while giving the same quality or light both in colour and illumination.

  • 230v GU10 and 12V MR16 available. A simple plug-in replacement

  •

Fluorescent strip-light replacement

Lumanetic LED strip-lighting range is ALMOST a plug in replacement for the traditional fluorescent tube, an electrician is required to remove the ballast from the fixture. Equivalent light output will use as little as ONE THIRD of the previous power.

  • 3, 4, 5 foot strip lights available.

Outdoor security lights

Low energy security lights are also available, typically a 50 Watt LED bulb will replace a 300 Watt halogen. Bulb lifetime (up to 50 times) is greatly enhanced which greatly enhances security as a hard to reach bulb might not be changed as soon as it fails. We are also offering a Security light, Solar panel (photo voltaic) and PIR sensor combination package which allows a HIGH-INTENSITY security light to be placed where there is no existing power. e.g. at the back of a dark car-park.

  • Bulb only uses 1/6 of the conventional power, so even without the PV panel it is much cheaper to run.
  • No expensive outdoor cable runs required.
  • No ESB bills

Warehouse lighting

Hi-intensity warehouse lighting also available.

  • Bulbs only uses a fraction of the conventional power.
  • Smaller diameter cable runs required.
  • Much lower Electricity bills
